Dawn Minnifee's Portfolio

Dawn N. Minnifee is a skilled senior instructional designer with over twelve years of experience in online learning and adult training and learning. She has worked with project managers and subject-matter experts to develop interactive training. She is skilled in training development, project management, intake and delivery, and innovative learning. 

Dawn’s post-secondary education began in 1992 after graduating from high school. She took a break from school to start a family in 1995. In 2004, she went back to school to study special education, and four years later she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Tennessee State University (TSU). In 2019, she started her study in the Master of Science in Instructional Design and Technology program. 

In 2004, Dawn started her professional career as a project specialist and trainer with Asurion Insurance Services. A few years later, she advanced her career to an instructional designer and soon after promoted to Senior instructional designer. She is a mother of two, Amaya and Andre, and has one grandson. She enjoys reading, vacationing, and spending time with family.
